Hi, I'm Saroj, the founder of KALIKKO, and my obsession with nails goes way back! 

Growing up, having my nails done was a huge part of my identity – so much so that my friends and family would worry if they weren't perfectly manicured! I loved spending hours every couple of weeks creating new designs, always trying out the latest trends.

As I got older, life got in the way. I tried going to salons, but it just wasn't the same. I'd find myself subtly critiquing the manicurist's technique (sorry!), and the scheduling nightmare of living in Manchester and working in Liverpool made it almost impossible to get appointments. Plus, I missed the creative outlet and the sense of accomplishment that came with doing my own nails. But who has time for intricate nail art these days?
